The final page of 2010 would close in 5 hours as I sit down to write this post.
It’s been one long, hectic but fulfilling year. Of course there were a few loose ends but I guess that just shows my imperfection.
2010 was one year to remember because it was packed with so many activities as well as responsibilities. Not forgetting several events which have touched me physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, spiritually………..
It’s been filled with:
Connecting with so many wonderful bloggers online and offline.
An increase in the total number of subscribers.
Publishing an online magazine (The Life Skills Magazine) containing several personal development articles from different bloggers. Not forgetting 2 bumper issues dedicated to creating awareness on ME/CFS and another showcasing interviews with 26 bloggers.
Launching The Listening Helps Program aimed providing counselling or coaching sessions to individuals who want to share or speak about their current life struggles.
Guest posting on a few blogs and in turn hosting guest posts on this blog.
Started but temporarily suspended The Life Skills Challenge due to logistic issues; but a special thank you to everyone who donated ebooks, books and cds(Sandra Hendricks).
An Outlook For 2011
My projections for the blog in 2011 are as follows:
Take projects one step at a time.
Build on all existing relationships (constructive) and develop new ones by networking.
Be faithful in posting articles at least once or twice a week on the blog and ensure it provides inspiration, encouragement, motivation, instructions, healing…….
Build up my part time counselling practice through The Listening Helps Program and look at other mediums of enhancing my professional practice online.
Focus on providing sessions aimed at helping individuals deal with family related disputes, relationship issues, stress management, self-esteem concerns and other issues associated with mental and emotional health.
Engage in mentoring and befriending.
Tidy up minor editing errors in The Life Skills Magazine and work on developing the brand so it explodes in 2011.
Continually support the cause for creating awareness on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS) & Fibromyalgia (FMS) on this blog/magazine with a huge input from Dominique, Sue, Renee, Laurel and anyone else (NB: This is subject to discretion)
Finish and launch my ebook.
Get involved with more seminars and speaking engagements.
To everyone who has subscribed, visited, read, contributed to and commented on this blog…….
Happy New Year.
