There hasn’t been any new posts in 5 days because I’ve been busy trying to create a structured balance with my academics, life coaching/counselling, blogging, family life and work so that no one or nothing suffers.

I have 30 case studies and two final assessments to submit on or before October 29, 2009 for the first part of my postgraduate study, so I have to utilize all the spare time I have wisely. Having said that my target is to put up two or three posts each week, respond to comments and still look for opportunities to write guest posts.

This topic generated a lot of suggestions from my friends/colleagues at work, so in no particular order here are fifty ways to care for your body. Some are controversial but it still makes the list.

  • Give your body the self respect it deserves.
  • Comparing yourself with celebrities or matching your body figure against others.
  • Wear clothes which give you confidence.
  • Make pride and be comfortable in your body.
  • Identify and enhance bits of your body you are proud of.
  • Treat your body with dignity.
  • Appreciate all what your body can do.

  • Go for long walks.
  • Love your body inside out.
  • Keep the right body posture.

  • Smile more.
  • Have good personal habits or hygiene
  • Avoid hurting your body to look good.
  • Spend some time alone.
  • Know your body limitations.
  • Put yourself first
  • Don’t expose yourself to unnecessary risk.
  • Get a new hair do.
  • Shop for new clothes, shoes, perfumes….
  • Find things to keep you relaxed.
  • Rest well.
  • Accept who you are.
  • Don’t be hard on yourself
  • Sleep well.
  • Get a massage.
  • Pamper yourself in the bath with oils, soothing music and skin moisturizers.
  • Get a manicure and pedicure.
  • Throw away uncomfortable clothes.
  • Have a make over.

Hello Elle,

Thanks for stopping by and your contribution. I totally agree with creating a positive affirmation and not giving ourselves such a bad time trying to be someone else.
