What is coaching?
The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
The Life Skills Coaching approach is non directive and focuses on the following :
Knowing where you are: This is making a summary of your current situation, present circumstance, success, failures, highs, lows and frustrations.
Being Realistic: Taking a cautious and practical view of your ambitions and desires.
Relationships: This involves helping you establish positive relationships with family, spouses, friends and colleagues.
Dealing with events of the past: Understanding the role past events play in distorting your perception of what’s going on around you.
