It’s been a long haul this year and it’s been filled with ups & downs, highs & lows, successes & failures……….. but every effort put into staying on top of the game was worth it.
I have failed a lot this year, been through difficult and trying times, been ripped off by so called web designers and consultants. I have paid through my nose, combined my family, work, school, social life all together and it’s been one big roller coaster. It’s not all sorrows; I started my coaching practice, started a personal development/Life skills blog, gained subscribers to the blog, got to know and meet many amazing people…… (I can go on but…………..)
Today I just want to say “Thank you”.
It’s my final word for the year and it comes with so much convictions.
Once again, I’m saying those two words ‘Thank you’!!! To whom you might ask?
To all the subscribers and readers of this blog, I want to say a big thank you. I value all the support given. Without you this blog wouldn’t really exist (what’s the point in having a blog with no readers). Thanks for visiting, reading, criticising and sometimes asking questions.
To the networks/friendships established with different bloggers who I now call my friends, I say thank you.
To Dr Charles Bentley ‘Life Coach Uk’ (The Founder of The Unitive Approach To Life Coaching): Thanks for tutoring, coaching and allowing me drink from the fountains of your knowledge and approach.
To Steve Ellerby my course tutor in Personal & Professional Practice: Thanks for reviewing my case studies, assessments and checking out my blog on a few occasions. I still have 17 left and would let you review them shortly lol!!!
To Steve Aitchison ‘Change Your Thoughts’: Thanks for providing me a platform to work with. Thanks for creating an opportunity to work with you on “Ask the Coach” and also accepting my guest posts. You exposed me through your blog and I am always humbled by your gestures. Please note: get Steves New Year book ‘100 Ways to Develop Your Mind’. It’s a great way to start the year.
To Dr. Irene Conlan of ‘The Self Improvement Blog’, thanks for accepting all my guest posts and providing all forms of encouragement with regards to the contexts of my posts.
To Duncan Hanton and ‘The North West Church’, ‘thanks for all your love, support, care, prayers for the whole family.
To Zaem Rizwan: what’s happening bro? Come up with a new concept for my blog design!!!! On a serious note thanks for all your help in the various evolutions of different blog designs, php knowledge and all other coding jargons I don’t know.
To my friends, colleagues, neighbours we’ve lived through the year with different experiences and we’ve definitely come out stronger. I hope we add value to each others lives, once again in the New Year.
Finally, to the love of my life, mother of our two children, my wifey and first lady of our home; thanks for ‘being there’ always. Being there speaks volumesssss. (Thoughtfulness, understanding care….)
My Outlook for the New Year.
For the blog; I intend do the following:
- Write great content and improve on my sentence constructions, grammar etc.

hi remi,
thanks for stopping by and your kind words.
Hello Ayo, thank you for stopping by my blog recently and leaving a comment while I was on vacation.
And thank you for this post. Two simple words. In my mind, they’re appropriate for any time. Whether we fail, or make mistakes, or succumb to our weaknesses. For it is through these experiences that we learn. And grow. And realize how valuable every day is. And how lucky we are to have this gift called life — our very personal playground where we can freely taste its sweetness and bitterness and everything in between.
thanks for stopping by belinda. you hit the nail on the head about life being our personal playground were we can taste its……..
