Dear Readers/Subscribers,
How are you and hope you’ve had a lovely day.
My sincere apologies for failing to update this blog for 3-4 weeks.
I recently set up a non profit organization aimed at tackling the issues of domestic and emotional abuse.
It’s in early stages and it requires a lot of attention at the moment due to the nature of the service and support provided to victims of abuse.
It doesn’t mean my longstanding readers and subscribers who have stood by me as well as watched the blog/magazine grow to its current level would be neglected.
The organization was borne as a result of a lot of questions, comments and interaction featured on this blog.
My Outlook For The Next Few Months:
I intend to post an article on this blog at least once a month but will also feature guest posts from bloggers who have a lot to offer with reference to life skills development.
The Life Skills Magazine
This is where I’m at crossroads and is open to all comments and suggestions you might have. The magazine is free to download but it costs an average on £110($160) to produce and publish each month.
It’s been running for over two years and I’ve been blessed to have wonderful bloggers such as Dominque Small, Evan Hadkins, Stuart Mills, Linda Hewett, Ken Wert, Barbara Zarella, Steve Aitchison, JK Allen, Noch Noch,L. Aynn Daniels……. (and many more) who have contributed articles as well as promoted the magazine each month.(I really appreciate all the support, contribution, care and understanding you’ve shown me.)
In order to minimize costs I’m of the opinion the magazine should now be published quarterly.
This might not go down well with everyone but it’s important I manage my personal finances properly so it’s not stretched beyond limits. At the moment I’m currently feeling the strain with the magazine and all the work going on with the non profit organization.
All work done on the blog, magazine and non profit organization has been self funded and while I’ve sought for donations, it’s not just come through. May be I am going about it the wrong way………however this hasn’t slowed down my dreams, passions, goals and objectives.
The next edition of the magazine will be published in a few weeks.
Although a new posting schedule has been set up, it’s important to maintain the standard and quality of the blog and this would always be my objective.
Thank you so much for reading and subscribing to the blog/magazine.
I look forward to your comments and suggestions.
Enjoy the rest of the day.

Hi Ayo,
In blogland quarterly is forever. Consider making the magazine less costly and sticking to monthly.
Although I do think we contributors will be happy to keep doing the same kind of promoting.
Hope the organisation is going well, it is very important work.
And I hope that you are finding it energising rather than (only) draining.
Evan
